Every tool on ConvertFormat is free because one short ad runs before each download or conversion — that is the whole business model: the tools are free, full stop, and the ad is what pays for them. Your browser is currently blocking those ads, so the tools can't run.
Open your ad blocker and choose “Don't block on this site” / pause it for this domain.
If you use a strict browser or DNS filter, allow googlesyndication.com here.
Come back and tap the button below — we'll check again instantly.
Nothing is tracked about you personally — the check happens entirely in your browser.
Make a compliant ID photo at home instead of paying for a booth: the AI removes your photo’s background, puts you on clean white, finds your face and crops to the official spec — US 2 × 2 in, UK and Schengen 35 × 45 mm, Canada 50 × 70 mm, India 2 × 2 in, all at print resolution. Download the single photo, or a 4 × 6 in print sheet with multiples ready for photo paper. You stay responsible for the non-size rules (neutral expression, no glasses glare, recent photo) — those are yours, the pixels are ours.
On ConvertFormat the matrix is the interface: the Passport Photo Maker is organised by the format you have and the format you need, because "change the format" is the whole job description — pick the pair, convert once, from the best original you have.

Why people pick this over other converters
No account, ever. Most big converter sites push sign-ups and paid tiers for basic jobs. Here the tool just works.
No watermarks and no job counters on standard tools — fair-use rate limits keep things fast for everyone — and a generous 200 MB upload limit.
Private by design: your file is processed in a temporary folder and deleted the moment your download finishes. Nothing is stored or shared.
Fast: this page is a fraction of the size of the ad-heavy alternatives, and the same account-free toolbox has 404 other tools when you need them.
FAQ
Will my photo be accepted?
Size, background and framing — the parts people fail on — are handled to spec. Acceptance is never guaranteed by any tool: agencies also check expression, shadows on the face, head coverings and recency. Follow your agency’s checklist and this handles the hard technical half.
Is this really free?
Yes — completely. A short ad before processing keeps every tool free; no account, subscription or credits are ever required.
What happens to my file?
It is processed in a temporary folder and deleted the moment your download finishes. We never store, view or share uploads.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything runs in your browser session against our servers — any phone, tablet or computer works.
